Modulation Transfer Function
Categories: Pattern Recognition and Image Processing
Author(s): Jon Mayhew
Modulation transfer functions are used in pattern recognition as a description of a system's frequency response. It is a plot of the input to output amplitude ratio as a function of the frequency of the sinusoidally modulated input signal. See also Fourier Transform.
