Objects described in viewer-centred co-ordinates, as opposed to Object-centred Co-ordinates, are those described in terms of a co-ordinate frame centred on the viewer, i.e., the viewer is considered to form the origin of the system and axes are defined relative to the line of sight and the retina. The representations of such objects must be transformed whenever the viewer moves.
